Only 50 km from Brasov, Covasna stretches at the outskirts of Bretcu (Vrancea) Mountains on 9 km. Covasna’s location is very interesting, as it is bordered by mountains in the north, east and south with an opening to the west, towards Brasov Depression.
       The distance between Bucharest and Covasna (215 km) is covered by national roads E60, E574 and DN13E. Hikers can spend a day visiting one of the numerous tourist attractions in the area: Sighişoara, Râşnov, Moeciu – Bran area, Predeal, Sinaia or Lake Sfânta Ana.
